To all those that came thanks again as you all helped make the day what it was. We had a rather large amount come along for this day out with 16 cars departing from Macca”s Richmond with one shortly having to return home due to a sick child.

We arrived at Zig Zag railway to air down and from there we headed off in two groups to try and reduce the dust and also congestion, which saw us arriving at the Glow Worm car park and totally filling it with some of us having to park up the track a short way to make room for all to fit. At the Northern end of the tunnel we had a group photo before heading back to the carpark, by the time we all got going again it made for a late lunch at the Pines picnic area.

After a chat and a bite to eat we then headed for the “Lost City” for a bit of a look see after the fires had been through, and then onto the “Bum Crack” to have a little play, before airing up and heading home.

The day was a little longer than I had planned but due to the number of people attending that was always going to happen.

Regards Mick Davie
