To those that made it along for this trip I think would agree that this was a easy day of finding new tracks and camping areas, but to those that wrote the directions I would say find a new job!! As we found out navigating through a area that we were not familiar with was made a lot harder with the directions given
We aired down on Mini Mini Rd, not so much because of necessity, but more for driver comfort as it always is more comfortable on dirt roads with a little less air in the tyres from there we made wound our way though the forestry roads to Giraltar Rocks for morning tea, for those that have not been to this location it has some wonderful views across the Coxs River valley. We did manage to find a few cleared areas that would suit a campsite for the club on future weekend (stay tuned for dates)
After leaving there it became apparent very quickly that the directions were not as clear as one would of hoped and as such we ended up following Little river fire trail until it met the six foot track, not the direction that we were planning but nether the less it made for a pleasant drive to the Coxs River where we had lunch, from there we headed back out via the six foot track and met up with the Great western Hwy at Hartley
